Laura Marin became an Ascendis associate consultant in 2011. She coordinates ample projects for the transformation of the companies’ activity by improving processes, starting from designing the programs together with the clients and up to their implementation, providing support for the development of the team members’ competences for companies in the energetic, banking, industrial and public administration field, among many others.
She has an experience of over 15 years in the organizational environment, in the sphere of process improvement and human resources. She has been part of process optimization and reorganization projects, systems implementation, implementation of Human Resources strategies and policies in the field of development and training, as well as in the field of performance management.
Laura considers that our day-to-day actions define us and that life is a continuous process of learning and experimenting. “Excellence, therefore, is not an act, it’s a habit”. By working together with the clients, with patience and empathy, she helps them discover the meaning of work and the ways of making things better, with less effort and fewer resources.
After having studied engineering and entered the world of continuous improvement, by means of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, she understood that people are an organization’s most valuable resource and decided to develop her competences in the field of human resources and psychology.
Laura graduated from the Polytechnic Institute from Bucharest, the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry and has a license in psychology from “Titu Maiorescu” University from Bucharest. She is also certified in Human resources (CIPD). She is trained in Psychological Counselling, Short Collaborative Therapies Oriented on Resources and Solutions (ARTS&CORS). She is an Associate Accredited Trainer of IASSC (International Association for Six Sigma Certification).
